You can use the Remote Desktop feature in Microsoft Windows XP Professional, and Windows 7 to connect to your computer from another remote computer.

Go to Start

Run

Regedit

 

Then go file the following key

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\System\\CurrentControlSet\\Control\\TerminalServer\\WinStations\\RDP-Tcp\\PortNumber

On the Edit Menu Click Modify and then click Decimal.

Type the New Port number you want , and then click OK

Quit Regedit.

 

You might have to reboot the computer to take effect.
