| Nvidia failed to initialize Nvidia kernel module | |
Solution:
$ sudo dpkg --get-selections | grep nvidia | grep -v deinstall | awk '{print $1}' | xargs sudo apt-get remove 2. Check it: $ sudo dpkg --get-selections | grep nvidia | grep -v deinstall 3. Install only needed packages: $ sudo apt-get install nvidia-glx-185 4. Load module nvidia and check it: $ sudo modprobe nvidia $ sudo lsmod | grep -i nvidia 5. Make configuration file xorg.file in /etc/X11/xorg.conf $ sudo nvidia-xconfig 6. Reboot. |
