Win7 Temporary Domain Profile ...

problem: After joining (or rejoining) a domain, I keep getting a temporary profile.

    Start > Run > regedit

     Navigate to HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList

     Delete any subkey with SID.bak

    Log off and log back in.  You should get a domain profile now.
