Install Non Public Android Market Apps

Solution:

    INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
    TkFast Android App Development Non Public apps are private and not yet available on the Android Market. We do plan to release the final version to the public via the Android Market but until your app goes public you will need to follow these steps. 

    1. Please get the latest version of the Beta Client from TkFast Android App Development support@tkfast.com

    FOR DEVICES THAT ALLOW INSTALLATION OF NON-MARKET APPS:

    2. Check the "Unknown sources" checkbox
     
    3. Copy .apk file to a phone (to internal memory via USB or to a memory card)

    4. Download "Apps Installer" from the Android Market, run "Apps Installer", navigate to SDcard folder, locate filename.apk file and initiate the install. (Note: we recommend to disconnect your device from any USB computer connection prior to running "Apps Installer") 
     
    FOR DEVICES THAT DO NOT ALLOW INSTALLATION OF NON-MARKET APPS (e.g. AT&T phones):

    2. Download and install Android SDK from http://code.google.com/android/intro/installing.html

    3. Download and install USB driver (Windows only) from http://developer.android.com/sdk/win-usb.html

    4. On your device, enable "Unknown Sources" under "Settings"/"Application settings" and also enable option "Disable Use for USB Storage" under "Setting"/"SD Card" and "Phone Storage".

    5. In the command-prompt (terminal) type "adb install /filename.apk" where is the path to the .apk file.
